Watoto in swahili means child. To me making a difference in the life of a child has meaning beyond it's small and tangible comprehension. It's something that will last for generations.
Helping not only the children but the mothers who are widows, some of whom were once slaves to soldiers. They were given a new life, and a chance to help the lives of little ones by becoming a foster mother.
